Crime rates are increasing dramatically

Nowadays, even politicians/ex-politicians themselves are not free from the attack of criminals:

PETALING JAYA: Dewan Rakyat Deputy Speaker Datuk Lim See Ching’s family was robbed by two men armed with parang.

Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mazlan Mansor said the two men managed to flee with cash, jewellery and mobile phones from the house at Jalan SS21/3, Damansara Jaya, yesterday.

He said Lim was not at home at the time as he was on his way to Kulai, Johor.

Lim’s wife, her sister and sister-in-law were in the house with their maid when the incident happened.

According to ACP Mazlan, the two men tied the four women with telephone wires before ransacking the house.

“However, nobody was injured in the incident,” he said, adding that they took almost RM30,000 worth of valuables.

Lim, when met at the house, said he was on his way to Kulai when his son called to inform him about the robbery.

“My wife managed to untie herself and called my son,'' he said.

Sometime ago, the son of former Health Minister Dato' Chua Jui Meng was nearly kidnapped.

In Johor, there is already a flood crisis, more of humanity crisis actually, army personnel asking for bribes to evacuate people, looters roam freely, stealing and vandalising become the norm. Memang sudah jatuh ditimpa tangga bagi penduduk Johor.

The destructive flood is certainly a bad sign from mother nature. we are beginning to face her wrath. I dread the future.
