Machiavellian Politics

First of all, my first post. I start with the Machiavellian ideology. Why is this important? Yes, you may argue that politics has nothing to do with you or your life. But I can tell you, it is still vital and needs adequate attention and follow-ups. Why? Because the policies affect your generation, your career, your life, your children's education etc etc. Although we may not be able to follow our ideals, at least it is not wrong to get to know the current issues. We should be alert about the country's situation so that we can make the best out of it. I am not saying that we should be selfish and reap everything, every harvest by ourselves. Some people based their thinking on that. They don't care if what they do causes dire consequences. The important thing is that "the end justifies the means". This is Machiavellian politics. But some may argue that the end does not necessarily justifies the means. Okay, morality aside. Politics is dirty. Lots of backstabbing. Friends and enemies always change sides. Anyone who disagrees with me that politics ain't dirty? Haha, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Keep reading and you will know why...but behind its so-called "dirty-ness", it is also interesting to follow. why? a very simple answer : it teaches us about human mistakes and experiences.

welcome to sembang kopitiam!

This blog's title is named Sembang Kedai Kopi as it fits the contents. Imagine we can have a virtual cyber kopitiam where we can hirup kopi sambil sembang kosong. Of course i did not mean it literally the kedai kopi tepi jalanan but rather posh coffee docks such as Coffee Bean or Starbucks. After all, you can get free online internet services there, all you need to do is just order a Java Chip Frappucino and enjoy its super-delicious taste, yum...it's good indeed although it can be a lil pricey. Okay, this is just once in a blue moon, I can't be drinking starbucks that often, will burn a hole in my pocket and go bankrupt. speaking about getting bankrupt, I wonder if our country's economy is moving forward, stagnant or backwards? This blog is created to encompass anything discussable in life, in Malaysia and in the world. For a start let us focus on some political issues which have become interesting lately. I will also use a few references to quote about the issues but whatever stated in this blog is the sole opinion of the blogger and any misunderstanding and miscommunication should be directed to the attention of the blogger. Thank you and welcome aboard!
